Common Connections is a community-focused nonprofit organization based in Grants Pass, OR. They began in 2016 with a vision to solve big social problems (i.e., housing for low-medium income levels). The very best way for everyone to help solve big problems is to donate time. Not many people have the ability to pay people back, but as Catherine Ryan Hyde proudly says, “If you can’t pay it back, pay it forward.”
Additionally, Common Connections is focused on helping potential Contractors with a pre-apprenticeship program. When this program kicks off, it will provide a physical location for pre-apprentices to go to learn how to use tools as well as an incubator for business owners to work collectively to develop and build new ideas.
Connecting with the community has never been easier. It’s about finding a passion and running with it. At Common Connections, they help others succeed through collaboration and incubation of ideas as well as by providing everyone with the tools they need to be successful.

There are many ways to Get Involved with Spirit of the Fair. We are actively seeking out individuals who want to be part of their local community but also want to make a difference in other people’s lives.
