She then told the officer she had her lawyer on the phone and he would like to speak to him. Dumbfounded, the officer complied and explained to the lawyer that she matched the description of someone who had just committed a crime.
After a few moments of speaking to the lawyer, the officer gave her the phone back, apologized and let her go. There were no grounds for him to detain her and she clearly wasn’t the person. This type of situation happens, and can happen to anyone at any time.
