What is Youth Empowerment?
Youth Empowerment is leading a Community Mentors movement…
…that provides a holistic approach to bring about community and individual restoration and empowerment for individuals. The focus of Youth Empowerment is to assist those who have been involved with institutional systems and/or at risk of entering those systems.
Through effective community engagement strategies, mentorship, court advocacy, and running groups through a Trauma Informed System. Youth Empowerment uses a trauma-informed innovative approach of reaching out to youth and their families in parks, Camp Barret, East Mesa, and boots on the ground Community Engagement throughout San Diego County.
