If you’re a business owner, you are most likely familiar with the Local Chamber of Commerce. However, like many Small Business Owners, you may not be plugged in enough, or at all, to maximize your revenue potential. There’s an old saying, “There’s no business like show business.” It’s amazing to think, but 90% of the time, it’s just about showing up. That, and you just have to learn how to put on a good show. Business is almost entirely made up of personal relationships and referrals, especially in the highly digital era with many little companies and very little trust.
The people at the Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce work tirelessly to bring all the members the most important and up-to-date community information to help boost the local economy and impact people’s lives. They promote Shop Local and go to great lengths to help local businesses succeed.
One thing many people may not know is that Chamber of Commerce are made up of a large percentage of volunteers. The volunteers are those who want to be connected to their community and want to make a difference in other people’s lives. They don’t ask for anything in return, but they give a great deal of their time and energy to the community.
Whoever you are reading this, remember one thing always, “you can have everything in life you want if you help enough people get what they want.” As a person gets older, they begin to realize we are all connected and we all rely on each other to survive. If you aren’t already, become a member of your Local Chamber of Commerce and get plugged in. You never know, it could just change your life.
