It has such a profound effect on your life that it changes you for some reason and completely alters your path from that very moment forward.
No one knows why. No one knows how. No one knows when. It just happens.
Those are the feelings Linda expressed about Ride For 22 Oregon Chapter. Her son is a Veteran and had personal experiences related to Veteran suicide.
He also enjoys riding motorcycles so he decided to do something about his personal situation to alter the path of those individuals suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
He started Ride for 22 (nonprofit organization) in Idaho and it grew to massive proportions within a few short years.
Once Linda was exposed to the movement, she was hooked and the rest is history.
Linda now travels around spreading Veteran Suicide Prevention Awareness with her volunteers. She sells merchandise to raise money and she also currently partners with and benefits from Spirit of the Fair Cornhole Tournaments.
She also has personal relationships with many Veterans who just needed someone to talk to through rough times.
