Take Tire Bulging Seriously
How a Fun Trip Almost Went Really Bad
Pay Attention to Your Car and Tires
During the early 2000s, a fun trip to a local theme park almost took a really bad turn when the bulging car tire blew out on the freeway. Before the trip even started, it was apparent there was an issue with the tire, but being in a hurry to get to the destination, it was shaken off and ignored.
Driving down the freeway a ways at 70 miles per hour heated up the already weak tire and it blew out while driving in the fast lane. If not for a quick reaction as to the emergency at hand, the car could have easily lost control and spun out, or even flipped. Luckily, no one was hurt and after hours of waiting safely, the car tire was replaced.
This is a very important lesson to those who choose to ignore the obvious. There’s no way to know how bad the result could have been or could be in the future, but there is a way to prevent many accidents from occurring just by paying attention to details.
