We Raise Money for Canine Angels Service Teams
Based in Grants Pass, they raise, train and provide service dogs to youth with disabilities.
Those dogs provide assistance to those young people at home and in public.
SERVICE DOG TEAMS
“They are generally placed with children and young adults between the ages of 12 and 25 who can benefit from help with physical tasks such as retrieving dropped items, opening and closing doors, turning lights on and off, providing stability when transferring in and out of wheelchairs, beds, and bathtubs, and seeking help during emergencies, and more.”
ASSISTED SERVICE DOGS
“These dogs are matched with people between the ages of 5 and 25 who are unable to handle their dog alone. These dogs help with physical tasks as well as those with developmental disabilities who can benefit from the emotional and social support.”
SPIRIT OF THE FAIR
Our primary focus is to assist youth related nonprofit organizations. Coupled with the love for animals, @CanineAngelsServiceTeams was an easy choice to help raise money.
We do this through Swag Bag Giveaways at our charity fundraiser events. These bags have items donated by local businesses to ‘Give Back’ to those who ‘Give First’.
Our goal is to also ‘Give Often’. Stay tuned for the next charity fundraiser. We are working diligently and will have something soon!
