Getting involved with the community doesn’t have to be difficult. There are many things to do around any city or town if enough effort is put in. All you need to do is jump on the internet and you will find more than enough to do, especially if it’s a populated area. However, what happens when you live in a small town? Even though there are always things to do, how do you know which are the best and which aren’t? The easiest way is to connect with your local community.
In Grants Pass, a great place to be plugged into is the Grange. The Fruitdale Grange was founded in 1907 and is a nonprofit organization. It was recently remodeled and looks brand new. It has a very large wooden dance floor area, a large stage and even a kitchen. There are two locations in town. Both of them have regular events and meetings year-round and can even be rented out for parties and events. Groups rent it out for many types of events such as dances, concerts, Boy Scout meetings, sewing classes and even business meetings.
